But this trend was apparently not because of a sense of respect for the office but because they were all part of the same swamp. This guys probably knows instinctively that he gets to live 40 - maybe even 50 more years (people's life keeps getting longer, 95.y.o. man is probably very average in 2046.) of no achieving anything in his last 40/45/50 years, literally nothing to do, and can't even do simple pleasures peasants do like going to the beach to surf alone. He'll be getting all the downside of being "someone important" sans the respect and relevancy, and it looks like his seething rage about Trump on this.
Another President couple who's annoying as hell and America couldn't seem to get rid of him and especially his FLOTUS was Bill, who is elected at 46 and lived 20 and counting after as "Non-Retired" couple. And his wife wouldn't shut up for Twenty years about how it's her turn, and it's his responsiblity to make it so. (I consider the last part Cruel and Unusual Punishment. But then Bill is a [email protected] so.)
Sad really. For some reason makes me think of the supreme court and how they accuse the right of politicizing it when in reality the whole purpose of it is to appoint people who interpret the Constitution as originally intended. The Left are the ones appointing political psychopaths looking to upend the US Constitution.
Jimmy Carter stayed away for a while and hired a publicist to try and make him look like anything but a total fucking disaster. So much of Reddit buys into it because they didn't live through it.
