In the USA, if you delete or destroy the evidence in a civil trial, it is supposed to be assumed that you did it because it was damning to your side.
Yet they allow these people like Steele and Hillary to get away with intentional sophisticated file wipes and just say oh well I guess we’ll never know.
Bullshit. They destroyed the evidence because it was extremely incriminating of themselves.
What's irritating is the way people seem to get away with destroying evidence is by ordering someone else to do it, chalk it up to a miscommunication or glitch, and suddenly it was just an accident with no one at fault.

As far as anyone knows the NSA has never reached into their data vault to pull out anything someone else has deleted, and there have been numerous instances it would have been appropriate to do so, as well as numerous instances it would have been inappropriate but advantageous to do so in order to leak and damage someone.

On the internet, nothing is ever truly deleted. Someone with enough gumption and knew who handled the emails could recover them. Seems Mr. Steele has no idea how the internet works.
