Because as long as one of them died somewhere of something resembling china virus all the Karen's will be spouting it over and over as evidence that we need to hide in our house or play Halloween for the next year.

Absolutely. Part-time job is an essential service. Have had plenty of customers cough on me without even bothering to cover their mouth. If it was as deadly as they have been pretending it is, I would have been dead months ago.

It's "Social Distancing" unless you have been to a Wal-Mart... seen those shenanigans in that case I got nothing.

I work as a stocker/bagger for a local grocery chain and I've only heard of one other employee getting the commie flu and he was a couple towns over. Also it's very interesting to see the wide variety of reactions people have to all this. I inform, and give links, and show numbers indicating how this isn't an apocalypse. Some people actually want to look into it and learn for themselves, but some are absolutely set in their ways and wont even entertaine the idea that their masters lie to them on a daily basis.

I guess only the peasants are spreaders ... elites need to keep them locked up and locked down. Freedom now!

Or how these losers have limits on entering stores but put people in condensed lines as opposed to just letting them inside where people would be spread apart further than if in a line outside.

Government, corporate, nanny state stupidity.

I was at HEB last week and they keep the lines spread out, but for people to get to the back of the line, they have to walk by everyone who is in the line. So it's doing absolutely no good.

People: "the bright side of all this is..."

Me interrupting: "I hate more people?"

And the homeless.

Why are there no piles of dead homeless people all over Left wing shit holes?

We are, but only because those of us still working are covering for half a store that called out, or are on "emergency leave" because they're panicking about this fake-plague. I'm usually not this exhausted with my job besides after the big rush from gearing up for Black Friday until my January post-Christmas vacation.

So do me a favor, everyone. If you go to any kind of store during this fiasco, if there's something you could probably find yourself, please find it yourself. If it's not on the shelf, know that it's not "in the back," nothing is in the back, we can't sell things that are in the back, and there's no damn room back there to begin with. "The Back" is a shitty hallway where our lockers are, and the time clocks are, and they shove the pallets of new shit that came in that we don't even know what it is yet. It's not the warehouse from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

And please, PLEASE, if you go to a Walmart, take that survey that they always bother you about, on the back of the receipt, and give them top marks; that survey determines our quarterly bonuses, and usually the only people who take the survey are the pissed off Karens who think that we're purposely slighting them when we don't have whatever bullshit they want.

" If it's not on the shelf, know that it's not "in the back,""

As someone who worked retail, I know that's a load of crap.

Have you worked at Walmart? Trucks come in every day, everything that is scanned and sold at a register is automatically added to the next shipment, and it is VERY rare that anything comes in at a significant amount more than its shelf cap, AND if something DOES come in over shelf cap, that's what we have Topstock for. Seasonal items may be frontloaded and binned, for an anticipated season-selldown, but those items are picked and filled every morning when DMs do their section work, and you do not fucking NEED that Pioneer Woman "Kitchen Help Wanted" decorative sign to hang in your breakfast nook right this second anyway.

There is NOTHING "in the back."
