I live in GA and i've been working during this whole thing. Only 1 person I know still buys into the bullshit. We dont even wear masks at work and none of us even know anyone who has gotten sick.

A Typhoid Mary to give me the equivilant of a flu? Good luck with that. I'll stay home, eat soup, drink Sprite, play Final Fantasy 7, get over it and be back at work in a week.

"Now, with favorable data and approval from state health officials, we are taking another measured step forward by opening shuttered businesses for limited operations. I know these hardworking Georgians will prioritize the safety of their employees and customers. (4/5) #gapol"

5 Stars! Every Commie in NV, other than our Dem Mayor in Vegas, intends to destroy our state.

Goodman has been great, bashing the whole ordeal from the beginning. She's even a Democrat. 0bama must not have her phone number.

Fuck yeah. Your move, DeSantis.

I hate the "phased opening" guidelines, but the beauty of them I suppose is that governors can choose to completely ignore them. For better or worse.

This will be interesting. Of course cases will spike as more are exposed, but what these fear mongering retards dont understand it thats TO BE EXPECTED. It will be followed by another drop off.

Florida is announcing it's plans for the next month today, hopefully we start following suit

I doubt cases will spike in any dramatic fashion. The shut downs and stay at home orders do not isolate people as much as we're lead to believe. The antibody tests do appear to show this. There'll probably be an increase in infections, but I suspect its growth rate will top off fairly quickly.

Remember we need 60% prevalence of the virus for herd immunity. Assuming the New York study is the same across the board(21% prevalence in population) we would still need a lot more infection, and thus more deaths to get there.

I agree, current lockdown procedures aren't doing much except turning a sucking chest wound into a slow bleed out. The end result is the same, it just how quick we get to the end goal.

The problem is nobody wants to hear it and the weak ass people would rather cry and huddle in their homes forever, thinking they are doing their part.

We just need to open, the vulnerable need to exercise caution and others just need not to be gross people and practice proper hygene. The curve is flat, get outside!

GA's coronavirus total infected: 21,883

GA's population: ~10,000,000

The curve flattened a while back.

OPEN THE FUCK UP ALREADY.

We have the capacity to handle this. Hospitals will not be overwhelmed at this point.
