He has to know that his claim of illegals contributing 2.5 billion is waaaay offset by illegals costing Californians about 25 billion a year. But he still has quotes like the one above where he only talks about the “benefits” of immigration without the cost.
Heartless guys , they do the jobs no one wants. Who do u know who would want to be a carpenter, or ups driver, or medical assistant, plumber, head cook , electrician, teacher, truck driver , mason, equipment operator, drywall hanger, tile setter, carpet kicker, oil worker, baker...
I have a PhD from UCLA, and my spouse is a Stanford PhD, and between the two of us, we've actually worked many of those jobs. Unlike a lot of our colleagues, we could easily go back to doing those jobs. The people who work at those jobs are real, salt o' the earth, no-nonsense mensch...unlike our university colleagues.
Agreed. I hear that phrase so much where I live, as if immigrants only pick produce, maids, etc. every trade I fired off , immigrants perform here in my state.
Poor sarcasm attempt? I do and have done many of those. That’s my rebuttal to those who imply ( they do the jobs no one wants ) illegals obviously take more jobs than picking grapes 🍇 was what I was trying to express.

I know roughly 30 million newly unemployed Americans who would love those jobs
