There's also the UV intravenous light (Healyte? or something) they use on intubated patients.

UV blood irradiation has been a thing for a long time in Europe, too.

Pulmonary edema is a condition with overwhelming fluid in the lungs, which is one of the worst effects of COVID and in conjunction with inflammation is why folks need ventilators.
