I mean this is a combo of speaking about multiple subjects at once and classic Trump off the cuff style...its hard to tell if hes talking about injecting UV light as a disinfectant or injecting a disinfectant like lysol or alcohol...he does mention the disinfectant that kills it in 30 seconds just before mentioning injecting it...I dont know, times like these i just want him to take one or two more beats to be more clear so libs arent just constantly screaming about it...they will no matter what but these things are free food for them
If I had to guess, he's trying to reveal classified information in a round-about way. Likely these dumbed-down quips are to reveal on the sly that the scientists are finding interesting ways of treating the virus.
Of course, he can't come out and say it, likely because they are using controversial means of testing, etc.
Considering they are testing UV Light and other experimental drugs/processes, I surmise the above to be true.
Occam's Razor. Its more likely that he’s just spitballing. That’s what Trump does. He’s simply brainstorming and throwing stuff out there like he always does.
It’s like when he asked if they can somehow use a flu vaccine for the coronavirus, and people jumped on that too. It’s just a question, and a fair one too. The man is pretty much just throwing questions out there. It’s a very normal thing to do.
