I had five bottles of it before this shit even started. One of them was 91%, the rest are the regular 70%. I use the 91% for certain gun-related purposes. It's quite handy.
For antimicrobial use the 70% is better because it's strong enough to burn the virus but doesn't evaporate as fast so it sticks around longer doing its burnination duties.
At the recommendation of a chemist the first week shit started getting crazy I picked up 1kg of 2 angstrom molecular sieve ceramic beads. You can pour lower concentration ethanol (like cheap 90 proof vodka) over them and they'll absorb the water but not the ethanol, leaving you with 70-ish percent ethanol. You can then bake the ceramic balls in a 250F oven to remove the water and repeat pretty much indefinitely.
Yeah, I've watched the Tech Ingredients youtube channel where he explains about the optimal concentration and he actually demonstrates the molecular sieve stuff.
I'm starting to really think we're in the Matrix and they outsourced it's programing and upkeep to a shithole country. That's why everything is so comically fucked.
It's the 3rd if sort highest price to lowest. Surprised they didn't go with the $11k option. Of course it is 240 gallons of 99% delivered on a pallet. LOL.
Fuck the math, who didn't grow up with a bottle of that shit in their medicine cabinet? Or... but one for themselves? Shit is at the dollar store

It WAS at the dollar store... all gone now! Hydrogen Peroxide is still there, does the same thing.
This comment should be higher up! This wasn't about her stupidity. This was full-on deception.

They know what they're doing. That result wasn't the first result on Amazon. Or the 5th, or the 20th.

Sadly the moral of the story is that they're assuming the average person is so stupid they don't know what rubbing alcohol costs.
