My Polish grandmother hated fireworks and airplanes overhead until she died in 2010. She had budget cooking and food purchasing habits that never left her. If basics went on a good sale she bought a dozen and hid them away in her home in strange places . Her feet from being shoeless for almost half the war wrecked her gait permanently. My stoic grandfather’s military living habits never left him, and he could tell you where he got every single one of his wounds. Omfg could that man drink.
