There's nothing wrong with science. It's too bad it's been largely replaced with political activism, and so many "scientists" are leftist hacks who "believe" in experts the way the ignorant used to believe in the magic behind the screen.

Of course not! But it's the main reason why we have the initiative on so many issues now - because the left's hypocrisy is so blatant that even apolitical people who never keep up on current events can see through their BS.

We love science. REAL science. Not activism masquerading as truth.

"science" to the left includes all science rooted in statistical models.

statistical models are nothing more than this era's version of throwing chicken bones, reading tea leaves, etc. -- all just ways of "seeing the future".

science based on mathematical proof and experimental evidence is what regular people regard as "science", but the left conflates "entrail reading" science with this rigorous science, and insists we follow the wisdom of people doing nothing more than throwing some dice and saying, "this is what will happen tomorrow".

Ouch says the statistician. It's a little more than entrail readings, but models are only as good as the underlying data. Flawed data = flawed model.
