Whole lot of tough talk coming from a company that had to completely walk back their entire reason for the product’s existence when it killed women using it for its ACTUAL ADVERTISED PURPOSE.

Douching wasn't the entire reason for Lysol's existence. Disinfection was.

Douching has been used for birth control for ages. Premeasured douches weren't available, women had a bag and mixed their own solution.

Wine, vinegar and yes, lysol was DILUTED in water and used. The instruction for douching was still on the Lysol bottle when I was a kid. It was a capful to a quantity of water, not full strength Lysol.

People who used it full strength were kind of like that lady with the fish tank cleaner.

Otherwise lysol was sold as a household disenfectant. Let's not pretend otherwise.

Wow. I consider myself a student of history but had no idea Lysol was used to kill fetuses.
