Post from here earlier showed a patent that actually inserted some kind of light diode thing via pseudo injection to UV disinfect blood on the spot (supposedly been doing it since the 50s, but presumably required the blood to be drawn out first)... also talked a bit about a lung disinfectant "cleanse" (if you will) that is ostensibly a very careful injection
