came here to say this, and more. And the socializing aspect is suspect as well. Home school kids are "socialized" but in the right way. Yes, parents have to take care of kids and teach kids. That's in the job description. Public school is not supposed to be day care.
But i like that this person is questioning the "experts" lol.
Us Minnesotans are nice and neutral on many things, the state is largely conservative with the exception of the twin cities and Duluth, Trump has earned vast support up in the working mining counties where Obama closed the taconite(iron mineral) mines, he reopened them, even CNN did a segment on it, Omar is considered insufferable to the entire state and was elected due to the Somalis that Obama imported even the Somali community here hates her because members of it have come out against her cheating and marrying her bother to gain special favors! Minnesota is one of the swing states come 2020 Trump has proven himself for the state, even another immigtrtant is running against Omar and she sounds pro America
Yeah outside of the "real school benefits" (where they learn bullshit like diversity, LGBTQXYZ normalization, feminism and progressivism) this is spot on.
Parents can't be home schoolers AND work in their offices at the same time. Also, we cannot keep hiding from the virus. It's always going to be there in some form. Our best and only recourse is to allow herd immunity to take hold and grow. There is no other way to control this virus
Yes. The Governor is reopening offices, but has not reopened most child care facilities (only for healthcare workers) so not sure what Walz was thinking
I'm in favor of opening up many things, schools aren't one. Whatever you were going to do for your summer months you just need to do a little earlier in terms of daycare. It shouldn't be all that disruptive when you've had almost two months at home.
It's the worst way to spread the disease in my opinion. Kids are filthy and put their hands and mouth all over everything. Parents are in close contact with their kids daily. I would never in any normal sense come in contact with these hundreds of people otherwise.
The problem in MN is that many of the daycares are tied to the schools. So when schools are closed, so are the daycares. The Governor is not opening schools, but daycares (except a few for health care workers) aren’t open. For some, this is a dilemma.
There were rumors floating around today he may close parks playgrounds and the like because people are going outside and using them...how dense is this dude? We just sat inside for 3 months of winter and it's finally warning up, we are not staying inside our houses whether he wants us to or not. The more tests MN does the lower the death rate goes for our state which is the number of deaths is less than 250 last time I checked.
and the median age of death is 83. And 98.5 percent of deaths had pre-existing conditions. I mean, come on.
My neighbor is a doctor at a hospital. His parents (in their 70's) just arrived at his house from out of state to visit. They are all outside hanging out together. Now, this is a doctor. Inviting his elderly parents to his home, as he works in the hospital and is exposed to all kinds of illness. So if he's not worried about, why are we? None of them are wearing masks. When they arrived they all hugged. Hmmm...something fishy is going on with all the MSM fear mongering.
Walz can close all the parks he wants. No one is listening. We went out today and people were everywhere. They closed beaches and pools in Minneapolis and a few suburbs, but guess what? Now people are already talking about road trips to Wisconsin Dells and other areas where beaches and pools are open. They should not make a decision in April to close beaches and pools for the entire summer. There is no way Lake Okoboji or Wisconsin Dells will miss a whole tourist season. Also, beaches and pools around the country are opening, but in Minneapolis it is too dangerous to have a little local park wading pool open. What horrible cucks we have in Minnesota.
Once the NPC's realize they have to take care of their own children, they wake up.
"Where's muh free daycare!"
The nuclear family, where the man works and the woman stays home to tend to the household and kids, might work here.
That’s how it works in our family. It’s a great way to live.
If this person thinks "real school" benefits kids, they're not smart.
Public brainwashing buildings for children

But who will teach your kids not to bully by saying things like "there are only two genders," and "skin color doesn't matter?"

School closed is a blessing in disguise. Its an escape from the indoctrination.

Yea I always hayed school. Always got sick there and barely anything was learned.

For my family, it isn’t a problem, as I’m a SAHM.
Close school indefinitely lol
