I can’t even listen to the radio anymore, because all’s I hear on every commercial is “social distance” “wash your hands” “flatten the curve” “stay home”, etc. it’s absolutely nauseating.

There seems to be a few of us that can recognize the obvious propaganda. You can find the others like us, a good tip off is they usually won’t be wearing a mask.

Me too. I have to give up the radio too, that I have used for decades for company, news, discussion, and white noise. The negative news and constant ads are designed to cause fear and anxiety, by activating the automatic reaction of fight or flight and since one can do neither, physical stress and anxiety result. Even if we realize what is happening, we can't stop our body from reacting. I keep trying.

It is 100% to get you to be afraid. I listen to my local fox radio station for a couple things... I dont really even like it, but i hate it less than most stations, or any popular music. "All these children are starving." "do this to find out if you have diabetes" "This man had a stroke" "Millions of people have their homes broken into every year"

All packed into just a few minutes, and thats just fucking ads! lol. Then you take into account that all MSM is bad news, and im tempted to find a lawyer for a class action suit on the creation of mass ptsd among the population. No wonder theres so much mental illness. If you listen to tv or radio, its as bad for you in the way it creates stress (that your concious of or not....propaganda got really good after ww2 and project paperclip) as smoking or drinking or other parts of a negative lifestyle. Id honestly be suprised if you couldnt link a bunch of societal medical and psychological problems and stress created by media. I understand why the left fights to keep the status quo....i didnt want to admit i was being lied to either.

You are so right. But ppl accept the fear as real, and lash out at others! It is hard to believe the vitriol against other innocent fellow citizens and the President. It is ugly. Ppl need to figure out why they are so afraid . . .

I can't even go to any weather forecast website without a red banner that I can click on for a covid update, or the death count in my county (I'm not exaggerating, check out wunderground).

I've also had to snooze the feeds of a number of friends on FB who became panic aggregators. One of them I snoozed for 30 days, and I realized the 30 days expired this morning because the first thing I saw on my feed was another fearmongering post from them.

Panic aggregators! I like that description. The fear and anxiety are not good for them or us. Worse for them, b/c they have worked themselves into a frenzy of hysteria and hate for anyone who wants to live normally, like with a job!

My relative has had the flu before smart ass. But they fit the bill as “vulnerable” by age pre-existing health risk to a virus that has a habit of hitting certain people hard.
