This administration has been remarkably tolerant when it comes to these threats, and the reason why is because if the feds arrested every moron who makes idle threats on a Facebook or Youtube thread, the press and Democrats would scream that it's proof Trump is the authoritarian they claim he is.
In reality, the fact that anyone can criticize Trump and even make threats proves he's not an authoritarian. Try going to China, criticizing Xi, and seeing how that works out for you. Is that the kind of country you want to live in?

Well the unfortunate reality is that we're on borrowed time.
And if the country backslides any further and shit really does start popping off, there's going to be some really hard questions about what we would do in the event of some kind of victory.
I mean, really, how do you rebuild a nation when there's still 100+ million communists, or communist sympathizers in the population? What do you do with them?
Of course someone is going to point out the hypocrisy of us saying "you can stay but you'll never be allowed to vote again, nor will your children", or something like that. But the reality is that this country was never founded with the intent of a straight up cancer taking over half of it that literally, seriously, actually, directly outright intends to destroy it.
My issue is the number of 175 mio. That's the loony part. Don't forget if we are only defend ourselves most of these regular people would come around to realize the commie crap for what it is.

In decades past, Civil War notwithstanding, most of this political shit was "should we bomb this dirtbag nation or not". If Bob Dole won in 1996 instead of Clinton, I doubt a lot would be different today.
Even on the issue of slavery with regards to the Civil War, I don't think anything was actually different for the vast majority of people. Most Southerners didn't own slaves or own plantations, so even if the Civil War were never fought and congress just passed an amendment saying slavery was now illegal, would it really have hurt most Southerners? If the South just acquiesced and gave up slaves, massive loss of life and property damage notwithstanding would there be a lot about everyday life for your everyday Southerner that would be different than it was after antebellum repatriation?
Now this shit is straight up about whether or not we are even allowed to have jobs and protest. and how exciting it is to have literally all our modern communications going through a leftist-controlled tech apparatus that allows China-esque real-time censorship of 'wrongthink'.
