I'll start supporting this when Iran and Saudi Arabia let Christians start building churches with bell towers.

21
MaxineWaters4Prez 21 points ago +21 / -0

Bell towers are just bells. They aren't a specific prayer or even a religion. It's just chimes.

This is a grotesque garbling of pedo rape, murder, and slavery worship.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 12 points ago +12 / -0

I can't draw a parallel between Church bell towers and the Muslim call to prayer. Ideological grounds aside, cultural assimilation is assumed of any immigrant. IF they're here legally, they have the duty and obligation to become part of our culture.

Not conquer it.

newchina 4 points ago +6 / -2

Uhhhh, gonna have to disagree with you there.

18
dixond 18 points ago +18 / -0

It's OK because the answer is "Never" - the Sauds and Ayatollahs will never allow it.

6
The_Peter 6 points ago +6 / -0

Exactly, I should have left out the "with bell towers" part because that wasn't the point. The point was that these no religion-of-peace-istan countries would let a church be built PERIOD.

Was stationed in Egypt and the most annoying thing in the world is the church bells versus the prayer calling over the worst PA systems ever, pushed to distortion starting at sunrise. I slept 75 feet from the Church bell Speaker across the street on the 3rd floor. Scared the bejeepers out of me.

Come on now, SA is very progressive. Why just this week they decided to get rid of flogging. That's progress! /S

AceOfTrumps 33 points ago +37 / -4

I'd be interested in a debate about whether this is forcing religion into others or forcing advertisement on others. Either way it should be illegal.

Oh, and for anyone else that is pissed about this: when you get into an argument with some libtard about it, STOP letting them use the "muh church bells" argument with impunity. 60 seconds of platonic dings aren't comparable to 15 minutes of gibberish

This was a post about Islam in America. Islamic countries chant Death to America on their parliament floor. Christians are killed in Nigeria, blown up in Sri Lanka, and persecuted in Egypt and Lebanon.

Imagine the level of brains wash where that behavior is not criticized, but Americans simply saying Islam is antithetical to the American constitution get anti- Christian comments.

Sorry for your childhood. Perhaps to help you see the positive side, at least your parents didn’t raise you to be a suicide bomber. At least they didn’t practice genital female mutilation on you. No other religion on earth has a suicide bombing problem. No other religion on earth quotes their bible while filming a beheading on video, no other religion teaches how to make pressure cooker bombs on your kitchen table. I’m glad your parents didn’t acid attack you, or didn’t honor kill you.
How about gunning down cartoonists for insulting allah. Beheading westerners because the quoran teaches to kill the infidel using a blade on their throat, How about raping and beheading on video 2 Scandinavian girls because the quoran says it’s okay to humiliate, rape and kill non believers?

Can i hear you stand against these murderous teachings, before you knee jerk against Christians, because this was a post about Islam.

A Gold post right here

15
dixond 15 points ago +18 / -3

My parents took the bible literally, which means beating the shit out of a child for their entire childhood, and justifying it in the name god.

Come on. Quote some scripture that they used to justify this. "Spare the rod and spoil the child"? When you "spare" someone you are withholding justified punishment from them. What "justified" punishment did you ever actually earn? Or did they maybe just have emotional dysfunctions and self-regulated by beating you?

5
Friendly_B 5 points ago +6 / -1

This is correct. As adults, self-loathing and lack of personal esteem are often connected to behaviors as children. This is unnecessary because children are not in control of rational functions and are still learning how to respond to outside stimulus.

2
dixond 2 points ago +2 / -0

I really feel for the guy - like; my wife was abused as a child (physical/emotional) and I understand the long-lasting and terrible impacts that this sort of dysfunctional upbringing caused. But at some point, you have to grow into maturity and point the finger of blame where it belongs: at the parents. They, and they alone, are responsible for their choices and actions.

2
Friendly_B 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, this is completely true when we're dealing with trying to understand these sorts of childhood events. Something different happens when the process of recovery has been underway diligently for some time then later: we realize that we personally are responsible for a part as well. Not as a child but in our current adult life, we are responsible for learning the tools to move beyond it all, and to let go. There is no reason for guilt, shame or fear. These tools have to be learned when we're ready. This person might be now, I don't know, only he does. It's not about self-knowledge or discovery, it's about taking action in the recovery process.

What is the name of the current practicing psychologist, so that we can avoid said person?

5
tombombadil 5 points ago +5 / -0

Fundamentalism/taking the Bible completely literally is a modern phenomenon from the last 200 years or so. What church were you part of? You could probably make the argument that it wasn’t even Christian.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +3 / -0

Said psychologist could still be sued, or at least disciplined by his professional organization which would be permanent.

This is NOT ok! Neither by professional standards, nor by Church Doctrine.

2
Scroon 2 points ago +4 / -2

This proves my point that Satan has infilitrated and twisted many churches towards evil ends. It's the ultimate blasphemy.

He's probably gotten into all churches in one way or another.

9
Mr_Beanths 9 points ago +10 / -1

Hey, I’m not going to downvote you, but that shit was your parents, not religion.

It may be easy to associate it with that since that was their justification, but you’re parents were demented.

I hope you’re good and making a good life for yourself. No one deserves that.

4
CuomoisaMassMurderer 4 points ago +4 / -0

Beating the shit out of a child is NOT "taking the Bible literally." Sorry but no.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience but you are displaying scars that are deeper than the physical wounds inflicted.

19

They should have zero problems with carols at their mosques then right?

15
phunxyn 15 points ago +15 / -0

Yea most of us in the suburbs find this despicable. Leave it to Minneapolis to pick this to out do the other liberal hell holes with. I guess when our state can't break 300 deaths and most of us were really sick with something in November and December they have to have something to bring the bar down.

12
Mexicola1976 12 points ago +13 / -1

Why did Minnesotans think it was a good idea to import a shit load of 3rd world refugees?

17
arkivx 17 points ago +17 / -0

Obama was not afraid to use his pen and his phone to import as many "refugees" as possible into one voting district.

11
Womp_womp 11 points ago +11 / -0

FUcking obama legacy here. It's all he has left

5
CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +5 / -0

People didn't vote for that.

3
Jabblemonkey1 3 points ago +4 / -1

It wasn't necessarily Minnesotans that did it. Obongo wanted to create a Muslim-majority congressional district so he settled the area with his fellow muzzies.

Al Jazeera.

That guy called Al, he knew someone else called that, just happened to give Al Gore hundreds of millions of dollars for a worthless TV channel.

.

Triggered leftists shout, "Separation of church and state!" as Trump calls for a National Day of Prayer amid coronavirus threat.

Of course, this imported Third World government that masquerades as a death cult religion is something that the nutjobs cheer for. Trump bad, China good, they say. Church bad, mosque good, they say. Without Trump, and churchgoers, protecting the nutjobs they would not exist in a world run by China or mosques.

Islam is not a religion it's a political ideology disguised as a religion.

It deserves no constitutional protections.

Islam is not compatible with American or Western Civilizations and no coexistence is possible.

Islam must be eradicated and all Muslims deported.

All mosques (barracks) should be leveled and converted to pig farms or distilleries.

All copies of the Koran should be recycled into toilet paper .

9
GWNorthman 9 points ago +9 / -0

WTF. Go practice your religion, but we shouldn't have to take part. That is horseshit.

Islam is not compatible with Western Civilization or American values and no coexistence is possible.

Islam is antithetical to the United States Constitution.

Islam is a political ideology disguised as a religion and as such deserves no protection under Freedom of Religion.

Islam has no place in our nation.

Deport ALL muslims, raze all mosques and build distilleries, pig farms, or dog walking parks where they stood.

Recycle all copies of the Koran into toilet paper.

Glass Mecca.

Islam is a deranged ideology that celebrates murder and pedophilia.

Islam must be destroyed.

When will the call to arms to destroy these evil people happen? When will the call to arms to destroy all traitors happen? I am no longer willingly to listen to discussion on lawmaking when politicians are the ones cowardly allowing evil to run rampit. It’s time for war, civil war and or just sit there and shut your damn mouths and take it up the ass like the left want you to do . Because you allowed a false Christian pacifist mentality to block your brains from being strong and standing up for truth.

If we were supposed to allow all this shit to happen then I cant tell you at all what the constitution was meant to represent ..

https://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2015/05/25/shock-poll-81-of-al-jazeera-arabic-poll-respondents-support-isis/

In a survey conducted by the website for the Al Jazeera Arabic television channel, respondents overwhelmingly supported the Islamic State terrorist group, with 81% voting “YES” on whether they approved of ISIS’s conquests in the region. The poll, which asked in Arabic, “Do you support the organizing victories of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)?” has generated over 38,000 responses thus far, with only 19% of respondents voting “NO” to supporting ISIS.
