Our state has really ramped up testing and now I see a lot of people saying “we can’t reopen, our cases are on the rise”. Obviously we are seeing new cases, I’m sure, but a lot could do with the fact we’re able to test anyone now that has symptoms, not just the worst cases

It's false it's Greenland and Iceland that have the highest per capital testing the u.s. for its size is doing a hell of a job. Looking at Italy is at around 2.5% and Germany slightly behind the rest at 1% the us is the one growing exponentially.
Nothing special on Australia number, still below Italy Germany and barely above the u.s. with 10 going to 11 times less tests made. Their average is around 19k per 1m inhabitants tests done to the u.s. 15k per 1m inhabitants
