I think our surplus need to be sold or used to maintain/curry favor with more strategic partners. We (as a government, not individuals) need to focus on our own strategic benefit at every front, particularly when we're in for a crashing economic depression.

I understand your position and agree it's a humanitarian one, but culturally similar as they are they're in no position to be of use to us even in the distant future, fiscally or strategically.

People within our nation voluntarily paying with their own money for the delivery of these vents to a people would be fine. I'm not interested in being humanitarian as a government act with people's tax dollars.
