Correct me if I'm wrong. The way flu vaccines are developed is a very hit and miss process. They only cover a few strains that scientists predict will be widely spread during the flu season. Which is why some years the flu vaccine works well and other years not so well.
If coronavirus turns seasonal, that will be the next opportunity for the government to continue to erode away our freedoms with no end in sight. Almost like our "war on terror".
Have you ever read the potential side effects for taking a single dose of aspirin? Anything you put in your body has the potential to fuck you up, but the odds of that happening when taking a yearly flu vaccine are low. It's totally possible that vaccines cause autism or what have you, but would rather die from what the vaccine is protecting you from or have some side effects that more than likely will go away?
Either way, it's your body. As long as you're an adult that can make his or her own decisions then no one should force you to put anything in your body you don't want to. However, I was vaccinated as a kid and get the yearly flu vaccine. I also get Hep and Pneumonia vaccines. I have passed out once due to a bad reaction and have gotten mild sickness a couple of times, but then I haven't had to flu in over 30 years nor have to worry about Tetanus or catching Hepatitis.
Just like the jerks who tell me I shouldn't drink Milk - it's my damned body and if I want to get vaccines I will. I plan on getting more this year and will gladly get a vaccine for the Chinese Wuhan Coronavirs (COVID-19) as soon as they develop one that works.
