So true. I see people going for walks around the neighborhood wearing a mask that aren’t within 20 ft of another human. It’s ridiculous, get some fresh air, you’re outside in daylight, probably much safer w/o a mask in those conditions.

Someone wearing an N95 mask passed out after driving for hours while wearing it the whole time, and crashed into a wooden pole.
When law enforcement posted the story on Facebook, it stirred the pot because some people claimed they were swearing off masks entirely while others were claiming the story was a hoax because "muh masks are perfect in every way and there could not have possibly been a CO2 buildup." Law enforcement responded by updating their post to read "Well we THINK it was the mask but it could have been something else, also be sure to follow your guidelines."
It's really hard to be an optimist in these times, but not impossible.
A CO2 buildup is in fact unlikely. Passing out from too much CO2 is painful. Your body will alert you that you're losing air and fight you the entire time. Helium or carbon monoxide on the other hand, will kill you silently.
Well it's true, causation isn't correlation. It's the same thing as us pointing out that not everyone with covid who dies died of covid.

That’s so insane to me. Sure give us guidelines to keep the public safe and all, that’s fine. But to enforce it via fines or arrest, that’s too far. I don’t wanna deal with it, but if I got pulled over for not wearing a mask, I’ll be sure to fight it at all costs in court because its so wrong and we cannot stand for that at all. If we do, what’s next?
We have to file class action lawsuits. Split the legal fees among everyone affected. At least per State. Otherwise the State wins just because of money.
Oh yes, and I would happily throw in, not to see a payout but to see justice. I’ve been saying all along when this is over, I hope lawsuits fly against draconian governors. Again, federal guidelines are 1 thing, government overreach by the governor is another, and I hope the nearly bankrupt coffers of the state get robbed by law abiding taxpayers to some degree just to prove a point. Which will happen somewhere and I can only hope to be a part of it.
Yup! The federal guidelines are actually carefully drawn up, and I don't see them overstepping anything. I'm not overjoyed at the last set, but my biggest gripe is they only mention one time that Governors can handle things by County rather than the whole State. They don't strongly encourage doing so. I only know of one State that's actually done that; Utah. Every State has large areas of low population density.
We can file civil suits against the Governor's own wealth, which is really cool. Bankrupting our State and local governments has little real benefit. (Or maybe I'm wrong?) Sending the message that you fuck around you die as a pauper in prison pays BIG dividends, beyond our children's children ...

Well I really feel for DJT in this predicament. He was given bad info just like we were. The initial "15 days" is easily forgivable, IMHO. And some cities really needed it. By April 1 we already realized CCPvirus is quite different than we were told, and suspected China is behind at least much of the fuckery.

I agree that veganism isn't for everyone and I don't advocate for anyone to be vegan. I will probably not be vegan forever either. But you have to admit the standard american diet is killing us. I have a friend who is vegan and while she has gotten better, she used to be so damn insufferable about everything, and still is but less so. There are so many problems in her life and it's everyone elses fault and continues to make up excuses to not improve and just says shit like "you wouldn't know what it's like" or "my stepdad looks at my ass and I don't like it, I can't go to therapy or stuff. I'll just do yoga and meditate". Like damn dude.

I was a MESS, I was a dem and a vegan, kek. I bought a LOT of supplements. Now they sit and gather dust, I just eat liver. Liver is the best vitamin on earth, if you eat it you only need to finish it out with extra magnesium and C. I'm about 85 - 90% recovered from the damage the veganism did.
I could eat fancy and cost a lot, but I don't have to. I eat really simple food these days. Everything in a vegans life revolves around food. Theyre tired and they just cook, eat, clean, cook eat clean, its exhausting. Theres so much prep, even when youre raw.

If you're trap or skeet shooting you're shooting into the air. What makes it dangerous is when you fire aerodynamic bullets that can gain deadly terminal velocity. A bunch of mini bb's in a target round won't cause damage falling back to the ground.

build a large drone with a thin carbon fiber shell that is saucer-shaped, with all hardware, motors, etc. attached inside it. This replaces the girder frame most drones use. It also allows the lift fans to be ducted for greater efficiency.
add the lightweight "mouth" mechanism to open a sector of the saucer, so it looks like Pacman when viewed from above.

BBs won't do shit but bounce off, drones are very stable and can fly in like 40 mph winds. You can even have a propeller get damaged and the drone can usually still fly. The paintball might be useful if you can hit the camera though.

Just to make everyone aware, some years ago our government quietly passed a law protecting anybody's drone from being shot down. It was announced in the context of a father acting out of concern for his daughter vs a suspected peeping Tom neighbor; the Dad shot down the drone the neighbor won the case.
I knew they didn't care about protecting OUR property, it was a way to prevent us from taking out THEIR property. 'Dead men tell no tales' comes into play here.
