It’s ontv right now, turn it on. No, I had to give them a link to an article. I said turn on the tv. The downvotes were to oblivion. It was pathetic.
Saw another conversation yesterday about th ‘bleach’ presser. Someone asked for a link. It was an opinion piece with tweets of what was being said. Not everything, only certain things. They would never link the actual footage from the presser because it would upend Orangemanbad.

His excuse what that CNN wouldn't link it because they didn't want people to actually do what Trump said. They are so brain dead/washed that they can't see what's right in their faces. If the case was to be made that he said it, the tape is easy to find. They don't link because that would prove it was a lie.

No I don’t. I haven’t spoken to my 3 siblings since 2009. It feels bad and I can’t blame it all on them. I think it’s natural to be competitive about politics because we ( I ) have a tendency to identify with an ideology. At this point I’m thinking we’re so divided that we can’t even agree to disagree. I gave up on logic and reasoning with any Trump haters. Luckily my mother ( ex hippie) finally came around due to the obvious media lies. Never let anyone tell you what your aloud to think feel etc... family included. I’ve had to learn to choose my battles wisely. Sometimes you can be right or be happy it’s up to you to decide if winning a debate is worth it . Only time will tell who’s philosophy is better, left or right. I know how shitty bitter selfish siblings can be. Indifference to your rivals thoughts can be a powerful tool. It’s only partly politics for me. My brother and I totally disagree but we can talk about things that aren’t politics and be nice to each other. My insane sisters are a different story. They’ve been cruel their whole lives and them openly hoping that hydroxychloroquine won’t work just to make the President look bad was an awakening for me. It doesn’t matter what I or anyone say their hearts are black. They’re motivated by hate, hate for society, hate for men, hate and jealousy of anyone who is happy. I’ve spent my whole life trying to be nice to them to try to make them nicer people. At a certain point, when you realize that they make your life measurably worse, you have to walk away. It wasn’t fun and it wasn’t easy. It was super sad. But I’m getting used to not talking to them and each day is easier and brighter and not crowded by their idiot drama.

I think the way to go on this one is to go on the offensive. When someone says that you have to say back to them “oh wow seriously?? I didn’t realize YOU were blinded by fake news too. He didn’t say that and I can’t believe you know so little that you think he did!” These are obviously low information people and you have to shame them about it. The fake news narrative is out there so make them feel sheepish about just repeating talking heads. Send them the clip where from the presser and say—“see the BS they’re feeding you? If you believe this imagine all the other bs you’ve been fed and believe.” Could be a great red pill. And at the very least they should be humbled into recognizing how little they know. I’ve been pretty low lately too. I can’t believe how little power we have to control the narrative. It’s a disgrace.

Did you correct them? People often believe what an 'authoritative' source told them. But you have the unique opportunity to open their eyes to the truth by simply showing them the clip and the context in which he made his comments. If you're not familiar with Brandon Straka, he is a man who was progressive, swallowing without question the left's lies. A family friend showed him a film clip debunking one of those lies and that was enough to bring the whole house of cards down for him and open his eyes. He started the #walkaway movement.
