Having spent that time wanting to work and not getting taken in my old profession due to my disabled foot, I know there's a certain frustration that people who were raised with a good work ethic feel when they cannot put into the society that made their lives possible, when they start to feel like a useless growth that just saps from the tree. You can't just tell people "your needs are taken care of, you can go be lazy." Lots of people just can't do it, you and me included. We have to be part of what makes this country great.
