These “lawmakers” are absolutely insane and determined to drive this country into the ground for the next decade. The fact that they are demanding the country stay locked down and businesses closed until the end of the year (TWO years in VA) AND they want to give “everybody” (read: illegals too) $2k/mo means they want around $400 BILLION dollars a MONTH to pay people to stay home. “WHERE’S THE MONEY??” is right.
They'd be better off just canceling everyone's debt. Literally. Just everyone. The entire world even. Top to bottom. All cancelled. Any debt before may 1st.
50 year jubilee. Old Jewish law. They had 7 year debt cycles and every 50 years all debt was forgiven. I believe I have that correct. But honestly. Do the whole world did it and started over we all might be better off. Japan has been running a budget over 100% of gdp every year for a long time. That's just one example. It's should be a call home, but I bet if they did forgive all debt everyone would just go back to doing what they did before. It could work though. My home loan would be forgiven, but also all the money the bank borrowed would be forgiven as well. So kinda win win for everyone. Except people that don't have debt.
