I believe their behavior is directly related to them desiring - not - to believe in God in the first place. They worship the cult of man, the cult of self. They hate God. Nah, it's worse than that. If only that were the case, they wouldn't protect Islam, they would be equally against Christianity and Islam.
That's assuming that Muslims worship the same god as Christians.
