I really hated my benelli. It was my dream gun until I bought it. I sold it to get my Beretta A350. Never have looked back. The benelli was cumbersome, uncomfortable to hold, and all in all a pain in the ass to clean.
Where the f'ing balls can i get that? I am not a gun owner but looking to change my status ASAP. I live in New York state which makes it difficult to say the least

My second purchase was a 590 Shockwave using the Gun Show loophole. Now Decked Out with a laser, flashlight, side saddle for shits and giggles. Magazine you say? Hmm...
It's a relatively new design by Mossberg. I can't speak to new York, but Cali gun laws haven't banned them yet, so you stand a pretty good chance. Probably have to search your ass off on the internet right now to find anything stronger than a slingshot, but you could do way worse than a Mossberg.
Spend some time learning about magazine fed shotguns vs standard tube fed. There are some major differences that would be better to know getting into it rather than discover on your own.
The major one is feed jams and cost of the mags. Plastic shells deform and may have jamming problems. It’s not a deal breaker but again, if you know what you’re getting into these become “features” rather than bugs ;)
It has been a lot of fun to shoot. Have probably put 100 rounds through it so far. No issues. I think it would make a great home defense gun. If you do get it get the 50206 model as it comes with the Tri-rail and heat shield. The 50205 model does not.
This is the first shotgun I have owned. I own/am very familiar with the AR15 platform and I like that it is somewhat similar to that.
Online is your best bet then. You’re still going to have to leave to pick it up from a FFL. You can order now and go pick up when you’re able to leave.
Good for intruders, also for passing surveillance drones.

The gun is the Mossberg 590M. You may be able to find it elsewhere.

I exclusively buy federal because it's inexpensive.. I don't notice a difference. Maybe I'm not shooting my shotguns enough.

I love my 590. The heat shield is why i bought it. Looks so good with that magazine.
I used it in the the last skeet league to even things out a little and still managed a 24.32 out of 8 rounds with it. I won. hehehe
Nice. It is a lot of fun to shoot. The 20 rd magazine was on back order and will hopefully be shipped to me soon. Looking forward to that.
Not sure if I can even own a 20 rounder for mine here in Cucknecticut. I'll have to check on that.
