Before the coronavirus, the masses begged to be belittled. They were proud of their shame and lined up to confess their sins.
But watch what happens when the activists try to sell those ideas amid an actual, once-in-a-lifetime crisis. People don’t listen – they lash out. The very proponents of these ideas retract them in shame, as our politicians and celebrities are doing now.
They don’t even have the guts to stand behind the gospel they preached only weeks ago.
(Honestly not a huge fan of Nietzsche's soulless philosophy as a whole, but when it comes to decadence and sin, he is the authority)

I got to thinking about my western philosophy courses in college after observing AOC, Pelosi, Green Party activists and celebrities getting absolutely nuked over and over on Twitter for even attempting to shame the masses with their standard bullshit in these "Uncertain Times"
