Yes a lot of people I know who are still working have office jobs who have been able to work from home now. Very fortunate for them. And yes they’re the ones who tell us to shut up about not having a job. As they are able to easily collect a paycheck in their pajamas
I have an office job, work from home right now and I tell everyone wanting to "#StayHome" to "#STFU".
Honestly I hate working from home, I avoid it where there are times I have to like if I dont want to take a day off to go to a doctors appt or theres something I have to do but it doesnt take the whole day. too many distractions when you actually have to get something done, you have to ask someone a question or discuss something through MS Teams or email, and you're otherwise tethered to a laptop all day.
I mean I'm saving gas money and dont have a commute and all but staying home all the time sucks
I am one of those work from home ppl, let me tell you I am fucking furious. I've never been more fearful for the future of this country. This is bar none the biggest over reaction and government overreach in modern history. I also know having a job in a shit economy is much worse than one in a good economy. I lived through the Obama and Trump years, difference is astounding.
