Literally everyone I know that is out of work during this time signed up for unemployment and told me they are getting more out of unemployment than they do from their actual jobs. This includes middle-class jobs ($40-80k). All the while my spouse and I are still working making no extra. Hell, my spouse is a nurse taking care of COVID-19 patients, and she gets nothing extra. No bonus, no hazard pay, nothing. We aren't complaining cuz we prefer to work, and we are able to pay our bills, but this shit is wack.
