This is a misinformed person at best, getting anecdotal information from her friend who's probably at a shitty hospital.

At Worst it's Fear Porn.

1 Dr. cameron kyle sidell's video can be found here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmRlvX3VrAQ

There's another interesting Video that the Doc's shared

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzUEI-z77Uk

While I won't pretend to completely understand what they are talking about.

It's pretty wild to get the Gist of how in General the front line of a never before seen virus effects the population, and how those docs try to figure out what exactly is going on in your body NOW, then come up with a method to support your body and encourage it to heal -all out of their education & experiential toolkit, as well as reading studies, and sharing what's working & what's NOT with other doctors. Round Table, brainstorm for something totally new.

The thing is like fingerprints we are different yet similar creatures. There may be different strains of this pathogen, or it could be DESIGNED to effect different genotypes in different ways, then again it could be mutant varieties after the many months it's been incubating in the population, and passing round & round to emerge as new each time... or some times etc...

one treatment or medicine is not for everybody, I for one am glad there's docs in charge that are smart enough to evolve approaches and treatments as each situation presents itself, all while protecting their own health and the health of other staff

Note in the second video they mention there appear to be two types of patient, one with very LOW o2 saturation levels & Happy/comfortable and the other who is in distress and not happy probably in panic mode -the treatments they try are completely different with each type.

It's also quite apparent that if your sick enough, and decompensating before their very eyes, at some point you NEED a ventilator, while it's a great machine and can save a percentage of the sick who need it, it also has the potential to cause damage, also apparent in the second video is The docs FEAR doing damage to lungs via the machine. you're pretty bad off by the time you need the machine. That's the time for prayers.

also why comorbidities ARE a Problem, and where they eventually lead unless you and your doc actively try to halt or reverse what's causing your morbidity. if you get sick enough, the downward path is to ARDS, they can TRY to halt even that but, it's a percentage game aka a crap shoot if you recover.

From my following video /# 2, the o2 diffusion/exchange process, was fascinating, made me think of using a hyperbaric chamber to LOWER the air pressure (rather than raise it then lower to sea lavel pressure as it was designed originally for the diving 'Bends') and et voila they discuss that in another video:

I hope this helps...Not a doc, but kinda a med news junkie..

Yes. I agree with everything you say. But the point is there are shitty hospitals out there as well as shitty nurses. And they are, sadly, not as rare as you’d imagine. Your post does not mean this woman is creating “fear porn”. It is the truth. Maybe not the rule. But truth. These abuses and errors cannot be covered up or shamed away. It is happening.

Well in Corona-land, the hospitals are vacant, except for the hotspots who are up to their necks in patients that they have to track & develop individual treatments for.

the initial thought and protocol was this was totally respiratory disease, and they matched the common approaches at first until they saw it didn't work for everybody, so they learned to alter their approach. I wonder how much the CDC and acedemics actually can rapidly respond/support the boots on the ground docs, -that should change too.

At some point the hospitals will get back to their overbooked state. Maybe not though, if the $ and revenues & insurance etc are changed, for profit medicine may morph.. unlikely as that thought is...

Fucking shill, this whole thing is a non event

“Fucking shill”? The unnecessary deaths caused by refusal to use all treatments (like hydroxychloroquine + zinc etc), the misuse of ventilators, and the banning of family members from being patient advocates is hardly a “non event”.

None of what this woman describes (and I’ve heard these things from at least four people) is President Trump’s fault. Why use the term “shill”?!

In fact, these tragedies could be laid at the feet of the Democratic leaders of NYC and NY State. Cuomo has been lauded as a hero, yet these abuses have occurred under his watch. As well as the thousands of elderly exposed in old folks homes because convalescing infected patients were sent there.

This person is trying to share truth. Truth should never be considered “fucking shill” worthy. It actually takes courage.

I don’t read walls of text because 99% of the time it’s a slide.

But good on you if it’s not.
