I realize you're just a troll, but I'll bite once.

You don't like us so much you come to our state and infect it like locusts. I'm convinced NYC pizza is a practical joke too because it's the shittiest pizza on planet Earth.

Also, just because your shitty city was home to Italian immigrants, doesn't make you Italians. So it's really cool when you pronounce the five Italian words (all food words too) you know like you can actually speak the language.

You're my spirit animal.

The Fleet merger ruined my hometown when all these fucks came to my beautiful, red hometown. It's the same story everywhere, though. They send a few well-behaved scouts. Those scouts write home about how great it is down here. More come. Soon, they're voting themselves in as homeowner association president and running your neighborhood the same way they ran their shitty states and cities. They love what conservative values built, but only so far as they can exploit it.

Fuck Yankees.

I have personally been to Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, Beijing, Cairo, London, Rome, Paris, Delhi, Mexico City, Soa Poalo, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Chicago, Berlin, and a few others I've probably forgotten and I can say this with certainty: NY City is a shithole.

Standing up for where I live doesn't make me a troll but nice try. You do realize that GEOTUS is a NYer born and bred right? That's why he's tough and gets shit done. He's built many of the things that attract NYer to the south. Golf much? Oh and he loves NYC pizza.

Your Italian history lesson makes no sense. Work on that and show some loyalty to your POTUS hometown.

Buddy you know we can easily spot when someone is just a shill who posts here pretending to be on our side? Your post history is laughable.

2
thingaboutarsenal 2 points ago +4 / -2

When I spot a shill, one of my favorite games is to downvote every post in their history. If more of us did this, the shills would disappear faster. Deport someone with negative karma? Why yes I will.

Many shills make the occasional normal post to farm karma. We have to counter that.

-6
ClownShowPede -6 points ago +4 / -10

I poke fun at 1 comment and I'm a shill? Get a grip. I don't agree with the people that run my city but I love it all the same. It's called loyalty. A marxist wouldn't understand.

3

2
NotRealDemSocialism 2 points ago +3 / -1

Nothing about the person you replied to makes them a Marxist, yet you pulled that label out as though you thought it would reverse the tide; as though it would buy you cred.

All of the charts and statistics for "US" should exclude NYC. But in general the way the media and most people process this information is really foolish. Most of the statistics are just a proxy for population density and say almost nothing about the particular country/state.

If the media were to report on fingers, they'd say that fingers have a 100% fatality rate. Everyone who has ever had fingers has died, same with toes or teeth.

4
BeauBidenBrainTumor 4 points ago +5 / -1

Agreed! Setting a "one size fits all" approach to COVID-19 based on the needs of the New York metro area and Los Angeles is needlessly punitive. Stricter measures are needed in these two localities, but someone in Montana could basically be issued a bottle of hand sanitizer and sent about his business.

3
Granny 3 points ago +4 / -1

NY death statistics are shocking. Death rate examples per million pop:

NY 1135, NJ 669, MA 424, IL 151, CA 44, WA 103, NC 32, SC 35, UT 13, OK 50, AR 17.

If you get sick with CV, get the hell out of NYC, if you want to live!

☝️this guy gets it! So damn right. The most powerful weapon in the world is fear. Fear gets people to stop thinking. There are too many of us for the powers that be to ever force the public to truly do anything we don't want to do. They have to make you beg for the safety of your own prison cell. Only fear can warp your mind and make you a pliable lump of clay, ready to be shaped into the perfect slave. What is a virus next to the power of fear?

3
Cyer6 3 points ago +4 / -1

Just out of curiosity, I wonder if there are that many pedes here who were genuinely scared of the virus? We saw a lot of concern trolls here trying to convince all of us how deadly it is. Personally, I always believed this was all media hype that was being weaponized for politics. At no point was I concerned about catching the virus and not being able to heal myself. We've known from the very beginning that roughly 98% will not become seriously ill from it.

1
Side-o-Beef_Curtains 1 point ago +2 / -1

Wasn't worried for a second about the virus. My worry has always been about people being manipulated through fear.... But I'm an old fart (in internet years). This is my ninth or tenth apocalypse.

5
Poonjazzler1 5 points ago +6 / -1

Initially, as I recall, is because the virus had such a wide range of symptoms and had adverse effects to numerous organs. Given that their was such little knowledge at the time they just lumped it all together. As of present, I have no fucking clue though.

5
CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +7 / -2

The adverse effects to many different organs come from oxygen deprivation, which is entirely preventable via Trump pills taken when first diagnosed positive. There is one State I'm aware of where everyone can get medicine at that time, and their outcomes are recorded in a study. SD.

Other States may also let you get medicine then; FL - where else?

Again, can't blame Trump if 1 out of 50 states had a massive outbreak.

Logically, that means the Federal government did its job well but one incompetent Governor (and Mayor) messed up and couldn't protect the state's residents.

If the Federal government is at fault, the outbreak should be everywhere.

Yes but it becomes a national problem. We have a major issue with China, it's the biggest threat of our lifetimes and internal division only helps China.

We all know the Dems can't manage shit, we all know Dem cities are a disaster but pointing the finger at China is more productive than at each other.

If it was not for China, no cities would have this issue.

8
Averon 8 points ago +10 / -2

Something like hospital workers wanting their patients to die for more federal dollars? Or making sure nursing homes get infected?

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +4 / -2

No, those who work in hospitals don't actually want their patients to die. The medical profession as a whole seems designed to kill people, but it's not the individuals delivering the care that are the problem.

Restricting medicine from anyone until they're so bad that they can be admitted to the hospital for Wuflu is the biggest part of the problem. And few States do anything differently.

2
deleted 2 points ago +4 / -2
2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +3 / -1

It's not just old white people dying. I don't think we have healthcare workers deliberately sabotaging lives. No one has had to make the decision who lives and who dies for lack of equipment, which was the beginning of the panic.

Those actually operating the ventilators trying to keep patients alive will lose about half. This is traumatic. People aren't designed to work in conditions like that. I don't have data for how this compares to a battlefield, but I'm pretty sure more than half our wounded survive. The real shortfall is not ventilators or any other equipment, it's the people running that equipment. Many will be traumatized for years. Nobody has mentioned this, which is horrific; I've known this for over a month and it's gotten 0 press.

These people don't deserve your accusations. Even if many of them do cling to leftist ideals, due to life long indoctrination by schools. Those seeing a lot of CCPvirus patients have a grim task of dealing with a LOT of death. Some have died, helping total strangers. Don't turn your back on them.

I think it's at least 40 Governors who refuse anyone in their State to get HCQ before they're hospitalized. SD and FL are exceptions. Who else?

Some States have pushed through partial birth and after birth abortions; I think those are still an extreme minority. Might as well just kill your 5 year old.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +4 / -1

Restricting medicine from anyone until they're so bad that they can be admitted to the hospital for Wuflu is the biggest part of the problem. And few States do anything differently.

By that time you're half dead. Many turned away from any treatment because they're not yet bad enough to be admitted to the hospital have died because they physically couldn't get back to medical care, or when they did they were so far gone the hospital couldn't keep them alive.

The term for this policy is mass murder. Few of our Governors are innocent of this charge.

2
FullTimeRaptor 2 points ago +3 / -1

It's also how socialized medicine works.

1

Tokyo cleanliness is pristine. Seriously, go on a train in Tokyo, or in a train station, or in a restaurant bathroom, or anywhere. You can almost eat off the floor.

NYC subway stations, trains and buses are a petri dish. If we didn't know that the Chinese caused this virus, I would almost think that it started in NYC. Everywhere in NYC is dirty, but especially the public transportation. And everybody there uses them and then spreads that bullshit all around to everybody else.

When you combine that with the population density and people living in closets with roommates, is anybody shocked and that fast spreading virus flies through the population? Then add in completely incompetent leadership and you have your explanation as to why NYC is bad.

11
Thingthing22 11 points ago +12 / -1

It's a fucking nursing home and medical facility problem.

10
Truglow 10 points ago +11 / -1

I agree. Anyone that would use nursing homes as covid care centers (Cumo),are evil.

2
CuomoisaMassMurderer 2 points ago +3 / -1

Most medical facilities aren't having any problem other than everyone is laid off. Remember the goal of the lockdown was to prevent medical facilities from being overwhelmed. We accomplished that objective.

We shouldn't take it for granted that medical facilities will remain able to deal with this no matter what we do, but the big city hotspots are the only places with any issue at all and might remain our best gauge. Most Counties across the Country could be open with slight restrictions and we shouldn't have any shortage of "ICU beds and ventilators," provided people are given Trump pills immediately upon being diagnosed positive and self quarantining.

11
BoughtByBloomberg 11 points ago +12 / -1

75% of casualties in Democrat managed States, 80% of cases in Democrat manages Counties. 90% of lockdown problems coming from Democrat run cities.

Lykanthrocide 10 points ago +11 / -1

Why does FL have to suffer for NY's neglectful policies?

6
CuomoisaMassMurderer 6 points ago +7 / -1

Because of Cuomo's mistake. US had been donated 9 million pills of HCQ, and Cuomo denied all but 1,100 New Yorkers any. Over a million panicked and fled the State, spreading it all over the Country. Cell phone data shows where these people went. A large portion went to FL, where they came in close contact with many from my somewhat rural County in WI. Upon their return our cases here ballooned from 5 to now we have 307. We used to be on the National boundary between a real problem and 0-10 cases per County. Now you can get there 2 Counties away, with 52 Counties in that range but only 5 in WI still have 0.

If you mean none of us are as bad as NYC, then YES. Cuomo also said "nowhere in the US is any different from NYC." Just to avoid any possible confusion about whether he is an idiot.

Most of New York State is NOTHING like NYC.

7
Trumpdidit 7 points ago +8 / -1

It is factually true, and evident, thhe the governors crying the loudest, are the governors that control the democratic states. Prove us wrong. cuomo claims he needs $11.7 billion to reopen his state...LMAO, Trump I pray, will tell him to go pound salt.

MoscowCommie 4 points ago +6 / -2

I've been saying this. The racial inequality is a huge issue with this. These liberal cities have pockets of extreme poverty that have shitty schools and shitty healthcare services. If we keep getting told Trump did a horrible job and deaths are on his hands, shouldn't we really turn this around on Diblasio and Cuomo. New York was woefully unprepared. Other states had to request some help which is fine. But Cuomo publicly pled on TV for beds and ventilators. They didn't isolate infected areas, it just ran rampant. New York is either making up fake numbers or they fucked up hard. They can't get let off the hook

7
Imransgarage 7 points ago +8 / -1

They fucked up hard. Health commie commissioner hyping Chinese New Years, forcing patients into the worst possible place (nursing homes), intentionally not preparing.

De Blasio telling people to go see De Niro films. The list goes on and on.

6
andra88 6 points ago +6 / -0

Actually poor NYCers probably have some of the best medical care in the world. They have comprehensive health insurance (medicaid) and access to world class hospitals just by living here. Yes there are poorly run hospitals in some areas but with a little wherewithal and a medicaid card you will get excellent care. I live near a major teaching hospital and the majority of their patients are medicaid recipients. Even uninsured illegals will get care if they go through the ER.

The initial hotspots in nyc were all orthodox jewish areas, not asian neighborhoods. Politicians are terrified of offending them so when they continued to congregate by the thousands for funerals, nothing was done. Keep in mind they had also spread measles in recent years by refusing to vaccinate, again they were treated with kid gloves.

When all is said an done, curtailing subway and bus service, forcing first responders, medical and essential workers into cars packed like sardines, with homeless people pooping and puking nearby, is probably going to be seen as one of the harshest precursors to infection. They should have doubled transit service if not tripled, but the MTA (the majority of whom are overweight, so at risk for complications) was in panic mode because so many of their workers were getting sick..

We also have countless huge, sprawling senior facilities all over the city that, as the article points out, were ill prepared and basically left unassisted.

And without a doubt, there has been fudging of the numbers. We are surrounded by bad data and probably will never know the truth.

I get the NYC and blue state hate, but until after November tone it down. There are conservative enclaves even in nyc where local seats will be contested, and it's moderates and swing voters who decide elections.

3
ClownShowPede 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well said!!

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

NY is both making up fake numbers AND fucked up hard. And nobody has stopped the faggot. State boundaries should have been sealed (quarantined) long ago. It's perfectly legal. Cuomo immediately talked about Civil War? We should have given it to him. Who the fuck would fight on his side? New Yorkers didn't like the idea of sealing State borders, but that is one BIG State, especially when you include NJ and CT. Nothing wrong with being kept within those boundaries for a couple months rather than spreading it all over the Country like they did. It's impossible to isolate the NYC metro area, so NJ and CT would have to be included. RI should've closed their western border at CT. Philadelphia still would have been a problem letting it spread into PA, but that could have been reduced.

And Cuomo is the beginning of denying sick people medicine. Almost everywhere is repeating that mistake. It's criminal.

These cities aren't great places that made a mistake and elected a Dem or two that turned them into shitholes.

These are places inhabited primarily by shitbags. Shitbags vote for Democrats.

These cities are not shitholes because they have a Dem mayor. They have a Dem mayor because they are shitholes.

If a republican were somehow elected, the only way he could improve the city is to give helicopter rides to the inhabitants.
