There are too many of us for the powers that be to ever force the public to truly do anything we don't want to do. They have to make you beg for the safety of your own prison cell. Only fear can warp your mind and make you a pliable lump of clay, ready to be shaped into the perfect slave. What is a virus next to the power of fear?
Just out of curiosity, I wonder if there are that many pedes here who were genuinely scared of the virus? We saw a lot of concern trolls here trying to convince all of us how deadly it is. Personally, I always believed this was all media hype that was being weaponized for politics. At no point was I concerned about catching the virus and not being able to heal myself. We've known from the very beginning that roughly 98% will not become seriously ill from it.
Wasn't worried for a second about the virus. My worry has always been about people being manipulated through fear.... But I'm an old fart (in internet years). This is my ninth or tenth apocalypse.
I don’t think it’s many, just a few. You certainly don’t hear much from them anymore though. No more predictions about how we’re going to be Italy in just two weeks.
