I have a lot of liberal friends and family. I've been really good at hiding my opinions for the past 4 years, not anymore. If someone doesn't want to be your friend because of a difference in opinion, they aren't worth your time.

It’s unconscionable and we have to stop this soon. Problem is the folks opposed to what’s happening are good natured law abiding citizens, who are proud Americans. It’s hard to get those types to rise up against this infringement, they’re not the rowdy, complaining types unlike the dangerous left. Just good people who are productive members of society which are constantly mocked and ridiculed, but they’re the ones who make this place as great as it is, not your governor nor anyone in the government.

We’re very fortunate so I will be vehemently supporting any local business who’s first to reopen. I need a haircut badly, and dammit if I have to get a manicure on these grimy fingers with cuticles that haven’t been trimmed in over 30 years, I’ll happily do it.

A week from today Missouri "reopens" but for the most part, other than restaurants and a few types of businesses, it has mostly been open for the last month. Maybe not in St. Louis or KC, but pretty much everywhere else. We have a good number of counties with zero anything.
Saint Louis City has only had .3% of its population catch the 'rona. County had .27%. Saint Charles County had .13% catch it. The death numbers for all three are below .02% The worst of the worst in MO is still ridiculously low.
Yet a friend who works in a Hospital is reporting that all people that come in are labeled as Corona Probable (even unrelated stuff) and every death is TAGGED as COVID-19. They can't talk about it or get fired.
Yes, this is even in our own MO. Life making decisions are stuck in a conflict of interest in MO hospitals. Fucking disgusting.
I'm going to ask if I can name the Hospital she works in and the other hospitals that she 100% knows is happening in. But yeah, she believes it is all. These fucks get paid so much money and are empty otherwise (especially out in the rural parts of MO)

It think things will open up very soon, there will NOT be NYC like conditions in the rest of the country, and if we let the hospitals do surgeries and see patients again, the health care system will not collapse.
