So true. Pence has a much more linear speaking pattern and he has such an opportunity to kick up the “sassiness” with his dry delivery.
It kind of reminds me of when the VP candidates were debating and Pence just embarrasses the other guy (can’t even remember his name) by saying something like, “I look forward to working with you while you’re in the senate next year...” or something like that. It was just perfect.
I remember. I remember when Pence turned Kaine into a stuttering, blubbering mess who literally had to beg the moderator to change the subject before he incriminated himself.
Trump and Pence are two sides of the same coin. Trump is great. Pence is great. Together they are fucking devastating.
Trump loudly and violently rips someone a new asshole, then gets another sassy question and says "You know what? I'm gonna let Mike take this one" and everybody in the room breathes a sigh of relief.
Then Pence steps in and calmly, quietly, and precisely rips them even further to shreds.
Without that feeling of relief the unexpected evisceration wouldn't be nearly as painful. I was a little cool on Pence 2024 before, but seeing him in these briefings has really made me warm to him. He was always a smart guy, but he's seen what Trump is doing and that you don't actually have to be nice to the press and he has adapted to it possibly better than anyone. I know we all love Rand and Ted fighting back, but they have mimicked Trump's style. Pence is still perfectly comfortable in his own skin, he's just no longer bound. He is sharp a s a tack and no longer restrained in the use of his rapier wit.
I think I could support him in 2024, especially if he picked a young firebrand as his VP to use as his muscle when the time is right. But yeah, lots of new respect for Pence during this whole shitfest.

First, this thread has me dying laughing. Second, your clip of Pence has my panties in a bunch. Hot damn if that wasn’t presidential 2024.

Yeah. For 2024 we want to go with someone dry and boring like Pence or Carson who can lock in the gains.
Wasn't dry AND boring though. Was dry and hilarious.
I think the dudes name was Tim Kaine or so,etching like that, but you’re right, the guy is hard to remember. Wow. He was so easily forgotten.
I’ve probably watched the clip 15 times today and it kills me every time!

I truly think if cruz could get on biard as his VP, that ticket would do good things for america.
