I'm a nurse...everything you said is accurate. I do think it's odd...how all negative posts blame nurses NOT doctors or administrators...when THOSE are the peop!e who write the rules. But....somehow, NURSES are to blame. Weird.

Thank you for the kind words, JB...when all this passes we'll be doing what we did before...the best we can for everybody as a person. We aren't perfect but I do believe nurses all enter this job to help people.

I have seen the numbers and there are no new hospitalizations and the curve has passed. She can rest easy knowing the worst is over and now the only crisis is a manufactured one. The president's and his people will have a cure soon and vaccine if needed but most of important is to trust your president. PPE I have heard is mostly not effective anyway.

It's weird that nobody is posting videos from the horror shows. They must be too busy.

So the tick tock videos are cool, but making videos of horror isn't. Maybe we should change the rules on that stuff.

Videoing a patient is a serious violation of HIPPA and WILL cost you your job and likely your medical license. No hospital worker will risk their livelihood just to get a video.

Medical workers are usually not allowed to even discuss cases because the patient can be identified by their symptoms or treatment. The feds are serious about patient privacy...unless it benefits them.

You'd think there'd be videos of nurses tired and suffering instead of dancing like idiots.

I would never assume that every Nurse I run into (My Sister, Niece, a lady who rents a house from me, and others I know) are involved in the Tik Tok videos nor would I have any sort of a negative feeling about any Nurse who did do that.

Unfortunately, it does look bad when Nurses are shown doing this when we supposedly are in the worst catastrophic event to impact Nurses. Than to hear other Hospitals are actually closing, Nurses being let go, Hours being cut, etc. it starts to seem this is a overblown hysterical reaction and not an actual pandemic. I would of hoped the Nurses union or more Nurses in general would come forward and call this out as the hoax it seems to be.

I think the tik tok videos have been misinterpreted. Nurses are human and at times want to try to bring some joy to a dire situation. Dancing typically makes people smile.

They do this stuff all the time but I think that they didnt anticipate a negative reaction this time due to the CV.

I certainly agree. I always try to state that it's some people and I've mentioned before that many are just under pressure from higher ups. It is easy to direct anger towards the person in front of you which would be the nurse more than the doctor.

Tell her that she's definitely appreciated and be wary of any upset relatives as there have been cases of violence against medical staff in China.
