A more recently elected official had done a TV interview in the prior few days or so— this was during impeachment bullshit. I heard the older elected Dem tell the younger one, and I'm quoting him here because it was great, "and you need to stop talking shit about the president on television, because you sound demented, and people don't think you're smart or important yet"
