It was more

‘Why isn’t the hero a woman? Sexist”

‘Why do these two fall in love, why can’t you fall in love and have a gay relationship’

I’m all open for that kind of stuff in video games. The more options and whatnot the better...but fuck, let a writer be creative and write the story they want to write and not the story you want them to write to make you happy. Play something else.

Plenty of RPGs have those kinds of options.

Skyrim came out in 2011 and you can be a homosexual furry if you want. Then when you introduce mods, the only limit is what your imagination allows.

Personally, I played (and still sometimes play) that game because I found the gameplay itself to be enjoyable and the collection of story-expanding mods to be substantial, but to each his own.

When Skyrim came out I told my wife I required at minimum a month off marriage... she thought I was joking.

As I said...I’m all for people getting what they want out of games. Just don’t force a writer to write a story just for you and get mad at them when they don’t. That’s insane to me, that mentality is all over reddit and resetera.
