I am currently in the dentists office in the chair waiting for anesthesia-- getting the follow up / finishing visit of a root canal. It had been Infected in the inside. The oral surgeon told me he INJECTED A DISINFECTANT into the tooth to kill the bacteria. It's standard practice....

yup. I had that in the last year too. They do the root canal then before they seal up the work with the temp filling with the post while they wait for the crown, they inject a disinfectant to kill any remaining infection and keep any from coming back. Try to keep the inside dry and free of debris for when they put the crown on

Got my teeth cleaned yesterday, they opened up last week. Utah here.

For emergency dental care we never closed, husband got treated during peak hyteria
