I am off to the grocery store, and wearing a mask. Why? Is it because I am skeered? Am I a toady to "The Man"? No, I don't need the itty bitty titty committee to tell me to wear a mask, nor can the same group of petulant children change my mind with ridicule, saying it amounts to surrender when I wear one. I am simply minding my own business. The anti-mask Karens should do the same.

I agree!! Dont be shamed by anyone. Ever!! Being ready is a sign of being smart. No one is saying not to live life. We should open up the economy but wear a mask for the time being. We will all know when we should remove it. It will happen.
A good response to anyone questioning the absence of a mask is to inquire why the accuser is not wearing goggles. This is sad that in order to move through your day without being hassled, you have to “appear” to be compliant, according to their idea of what’s acceptable. Just outside Seattle: same thing from about 75% of shoppers. A lady actually shrieked at me when I did not follow the taped arrows on the floor. All I could think of was to indicate her complete lack of eye protection - where were her goggles? Deer in the headlights, shocked into silence. Now she knows what it’s like to be “Karened”. Her reaction was priceless.
Yep. It's the not minding their own business on both sides that has my ass chapped.
