My friends and I were ordered to disperse -- six of us playing 3v3 soccer.

Cop said neighbors across the street from the park called in the complaint and that if we DID NOT disperse, we were going to be "inconvenienced"...

I wanted to push things but my friends didn't...

So now it's just me and the officer and I ask him what he means by inconvenienced. And the smartass fired back, "I have ways..."

Now I respect LEOs!!! But they are definitely being told to crack down on us. Truth be told I was hoping my friends would back me up and say "hell no -- we're playing soccer..." and see what happens.

But unlike me, they all have kids and wives at home who need them around. (Me, I'm 61, my kids are grown, my wife was away and so I was hoping to fight this.)

I tried to get more from the officer...but he just left...

So what's happening out there?

Here in Houston the Federal American Grill re-opened -- defying the orders of a Harris County judge (Hidalgo -- a liberal swineherd).

Hidalgo also ordered that all residents must wear masks in public -- but thankfully, no a single agency in Houston says they're willing to take any steps to enforce things. Thanks especially to the HPD officers' union who issued a letter to the judge saying "we will not enforce"!!! (The Fire Marshall and others have done nothing since.)

Still... Go out without a mask? There's DOZENS of folks who will shoot you nasty looks or call you out. I've been "mask-shamed" several times now. One woman said "you're murdering my grandparents you selfish POS!" She screeched it at me. (I told her "If you're that worried about a flu, stay home!")
