She used an estimate from December 2018, it says the updated numbers in the big yellow box saying that this link is archived for historical purposes and that the numbers are inaccurate.
She then used the literal bottom estimate for this year.
Both errors happen to support her statement. It makes her look stupid.

Not a peep from the media since on the toxicology results that I can find. Also no mention whether mom has been tested for antibodies, since the baby might have been born with the virus.

I got into a spat with my fiancée about it. We have 10 month old daughter, and I don’t want my fiancée freaking out about this shit. I was like, if it had the froo froo don’t you think it would’ve had enough symptoms before it died, and it would make fucking the national news!! “7 week old has the Chinese sniffles! More at 11!” I new it was fishy from the first article. It just had one sentence at the end, baby was tested after death and showed it had the general Tso’s sicken. I was like AHA!

2017-2018 was between 46,000 and 95,000 deaths, pegged at 61,000 deaths overall.
2018-2019 was between 26,339 and 52,664 deaths, pegged at 34,157 deaths overall.
CDC website says between 24,000 and 62,000 for the 2019-2020 preliminary estimate. Based on the 95% UI range, that would peg the deaths at 36,666.

According from the article you linked, Candace was on the right track! It most likely did die from some sort of asphyxiation.
