I have the right to be THAT guy and say -- THE FUCK?! Why has our nation become celebratory of first RESPONDERS? We do NOT celebrate doing something first-first anymore.. we only ever now celebrate recovering from shit. Ticker tape parades were never "Hey, good job for cleaning up the mess."

SPICY 🔥🔥🔥
On the other end of the spectrum from first responders are undertaker's and they already have parades.
First of all a flyover is not a memorial, so whyever you connected them--they're not. Second, what's it to you? How does that personally affect your wellbeing and/or ruin your day and make you salty? When you get your own air force or position of leadership you can do what you want. Health care and first responders are almost universally recognized as VIPS. All work has dignity and worth but when your life is literally in a person's hands, that notches up the appreciation factor. I don't expect this to wake you up. I'll give you a Participation Ribbon so you don't feel so butt hurt.
Superbowl. Christmas. Thanksgiving Parades...The election of Donald J. Trump to President,,,Celebrations are by definition about "events." Memorials and even funerals are sometimes called "celebrations'--as in "celebration of life."
I'm done with you now; hope you get that bitterness out of your system.
