As of this date, the total number of reported patients treated with HCQ, with or without azithromycin and zinc, is 2,333. Of these, 2,137 or 91.6 percent improved clinically. There were 63 deaths, all but 11 in a single retrospective report from the Veterans Administration where the patients were severely ill.

This sentence does not mean HCQ has a 90% chance of helping covid patients. It means that 90% of covid improved clinically with HCQ. It is unknown how many would improve without HCQ (80%? 50%? 95%?!) Journalistic malpractice needs to be codified into law.

Regardless, this represents a statistically significant number of patients who improved with hydroxychloroquine/Zpak, especially when you consider that the data includes the bogus "chart review" study of VA patients all of whom had been intubated before they were given HDQ.
