Went to the hospital with my cousin to get his arm in a cast and there's nobody there. Only employees nobody in waiting rooms I walked by a ton of places amd even went exploring a bit. Most employees just sitting around on their phones....this is a big major hospital in a tri city area.

"Don't worry, we'll be back to normal April 1st."
That same hospital just put out a report that says social distancing is now needed thru august to flatten the curve on the second wave because if we open now it will be worse than before.
Nope. I’m done. I’ve tolerated this bullshit since mid-March. It’s almost May. I did my part to be respectful and give hospitals time to prepare. Now it’s time these hospitals and medical professionals do their part and let everyone know they are fully staffed and stocked and prepared for a second wave, or anything else that comes their way. We respected them, they need to let everyone else return to their lives. Schools need to reopen. Youth sports need to start. Little League. Open the swimming pools. Open restaurants. Move forward. Be ready to treat patients, as needed, but remember that most people recover from Covid-19 and a majority have only mild symptoms, so there is no need to continue with the fear mongering.
No more lockdowns or stay at home orders ever again. Ever. Let Americans work again.
All the needed outpatient services can’t happen, and everyone who needlessly went to the er is scare to leave the house.
My wife is waiting to start a job at a outpatient facility and they keep pushing back the start date because they cant open up.
Nurse told me they are open for "elective essential" visits now too, which left me wondering what the fuck that meant. I told her it makes literally no sense at all but I couldn't hear her mumble under her mask and face shield.
Yup, and to get more PPE. How are we doing with the PPE? Can we go back to biz as usual? Or do I need to fly to South Dakota to see a dermatologist, dentist, or “non essential” doctor?
Every single employee had face masks and shields and a room for people who were sick to get one as well. No shortage here. Doesn't mean there isn't anywhere but they slangin em round here.
They apparently have enough PPE for Tik Tok videos and protests
State level HHS is overrun with corrupt actors from the Obama administration, at least that is true here in Whitler’s Reichland. Whitler is daughter of former BCBS CEO - likely the entity that would partner with the government on Medicare expansion programs or taking over insolvent hospitals. Fee-for-service and a more socialized health system and the largest player in the space benefitting the most. Only explanation for hospital systems and nurses in general tik toking their way into financial ruin.
We remember the reason In Iowa. That's why we are opening restaurants and other stores on Friday - before we even hit "peak".
I love you Iowa neighbor. Minneapolis is closing their beaches and pools for the entire summer, so I am already thinking I may need to bring my boys to Lake Okoboji for a little summer fun!
In all but the largest counties.
