AOC advocating for the same thing in NY and Cuomo is actually entertaining it. I got a notice from my tenants that as of 5/1 they are on strike and not paying rent. Cuomo issued a moratorium on evictions for 90 days so there's nothing I can do and now DeBlasio is pushing for rent forgiveness for 12 months. Its a freaking clown world in NY to say the least.

Yeah, I guess people think landlords have unlimited funds to pay taxes, building repairs, etc with no rent coming in. Their brains can’t seem to understand that landlords have family to feed too.
