Ben Shapiro will probably secretly vote for him. He'd probably hurt the Dem more than Trump- get some of the TDS Never Trump lunatics.

He’s in bed with China (family business) and will have zero impact on race.

No broad-based support. No charisma. Republicans see him as a traitor. Dems would be right to be wary of him.

Bottomline: ex-future campaign dead even before it starts.

He's running for one reason. He hopes to siphon off enough votes in Michigan to swing the state to the demoncrats.

Trump won in '16 by just over 10,000 votes with the libertarians taking 172,000 with Gary Johnson on the ballot.

Amash hopes to grab them and add 20-30,000 due to his Michigan ties, swinging the state in favor of his preferred pedophiles.

He'll get less support than Gary Johnson had. They guy is just another political egomaniac who actually thinks he could become the "upset" candidate that the Democrats really really want to split the vote, as they know they can't be Trump in a head to head.

He'll seriously be less popular than Gary Johnson. The reality is that the people who have traditionally run as Libertarian candidates are die-hard believers in it, like Ron Paul. Gar Johnson is a true Libertarian. Justin Amash? No one would buy that he is an actual Libertarian.

So, the people that vote these 3rd party candidates often are people that are die-hard Libertarians themselves, or they are looking to just throw a protest vote. The protest votes are almost always at least for someone principled in their beliefs, even though they know they will lose.

I don't see anyone actually believing this dude is a legitimate principled Libertarian. What is happening is the Democrats look down on regular people and they are hoping people accept and believe them, and Justin Amash is so blinded by his own ego and condescending viewpoint of the people that he actually thinks just like the Democrats due, that people will be dumb enough to fall for his scheme.

They won't be.

Do libertarians realize how much of a joke there party is. By running under their party they take away votes from people more likely to side with them. There best chance at power is to just become part of the Republican party like ron paul did.
