I feel like you're missing an important point. If he's truly free to run his company how he wants, then automating everyone out of a job is his prerogative. If nobody wants to hire you because a robot works for free, that's not capitalisms fault, it's yours for not having valuable skills worth keeping. So either everyone is free to run their business how they want and non-valuable people get cut, or you have the government step in and protect jobs but then you're not actually free.
