Yes but wearing the mask prevents me from touching things in the store and then touching my face. It’s a natural reflex but when I’m wearing the mask I am more aware. Once I get to my car and sanitized my hands, I remove the mask. It’s just an extra step of prevention.
I am not an at risk person but someone in my home is. That is why I wear a mask. Not everyone who looks young or healthy wearing a mask is a sheeple.

Does a mask not work like a filtering device of sorts? I understand it wouldn't totally prevent getting sick, but wouldn't it lower the chances?
Of course masks help protect you. Use common sense.
