I'm sorry to see Christopher go for many reasons, and one of them is the fact that The Lord of the Rings will probably soon be taken over by modern writers and ruined. Their politics shoehorned into the story and the original goodness written out.

Not to belittle Christopher's efforts, but with an Amazon adaptation already in the works I would bet my left nut LOTR is about to be ruined.
