TDS is like far leftism and hardcore atheism. It's a religion where the infected mind invested so heavily into some unsustainable crap that they rather sink with it than admit they're wrong. (Lighter version of it has some thin-skinned people realized they've been conned by con man but refuse to admit they're wrong out-right, and will be triggered every time you bring a truth-bomb.)
