Proud Polish-American here. I know the story of the Winged Hussars, King Jan III Sobieski, and the Battle of Vienna well. He spent so much time repelling Muslim invasions that the Ottomans called him "the Lion of Lechistan"!
Considering pretty much nothing about Central and Eastern European history is taught in schools until WWI and the rise of the Soviet Union, I am eternally grateful to Sabaton for telling the world the story of my heroic forefathers.
And Christians have every right to go down there and blast music right back at them.
I humbly submit this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuJk6MDUZFM or this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gtbbIB776ks.
Bonus points for finding a way to get their speakers to play it at them 5x a day.
Edit- or this song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jArVmGEfjdA, or basically anything from Sabaton.
I support this selection!!!
I see you are also a man of culture. \m/
Did we just become best friends?
Check out this look into the real history behind the winged hussars song, co-hosted by one of the guys who wrote it. https://hooktube.com/watch?v=K_L5acJht3g
